Properties categorized as ready for occupancy or RFO are move-in ready. This means that once purchased, the homebuyer can immediately move in. This usually applies to condominium units, townhouses, house and lot properties, and apartments. A property deemed as ready for occupancy almost always comes at full retail price but the advantage is that a homebuyer gets to see what he is paying for.
Rather than a model unit that is highly stylized to seem more appealing, RFO units show the actual property - you really get what you pay for. Aside from seeing your investment first-hand, you also have the advantage of being able to move into your new home the moment you finalize your payment. There is no need to wait years for a unit turnover and no need to find a place to rent in the meantime.
